Skills: Mauricio Aros’ career is impressive. Aros has played at the highest level at both the national team, and club level. Aros started his career in South America where he was considered one of the best players in his position and won two national championship with Universidad de Chile. He then signed a contract in Holland with Feyenoord, where he won the UEFA CUP in 2002. Since then, Aros has played in Israel, Saudi Arabia and three Chilean teams. In February of 2009 his current team Universidad de Concepcion obtained "Copa Chile" for the first time in its history. Mauricio Aros started in every single game of the tournament.

A very skillful and technical left footed player, Mauricio Aros started his career playing as a left wing-back but as he gained experience he moved towards the center of the field where he has developed an incredible ability to read the game, recover the ball, and “feed” the forwards with his precise long balls.
